WinterWhirl
The WinterWhirl collaborative snow blanket commemorates winter 2023/24 and was created for our second Wool and Water make-a-long, this one in partnership with our friends at the Finger Lakes Institute. Each participant recorded snow or no snow for each day at a location of their choosing; days with snow are light colors. From top to bottom there are 2 rows of 7 squares for December, January, February, and March and places represented include Canandaigua, Charlotteville, Cumberland Head, Dewey Mt, Keene, Lake Clear, Lake Placid, North River, Onchiota, Paul Smiths, Ray Brook, Rochester, and Saranac Lake.
