What began as a family tradition has evolved into a widespread clean-up event dubbed Maintain the Chain. The event not only focuses on maintaining the beauty of the Fulton Chain of Lakes but the entire Adirondack Park, as well.

Discovery Series: Stream Sampling
Join the Lake George Land Conservancy and Up Yonda Farm for an event from their Discovery Series. There’s tons of life in a moving stream, you just have to know where to look! We’ll use nets to collect samples, and will practice using observations to identify what we’ve found.

Maintain the Chain Kick-off Event
Maintain the Chain will be holding a "kick-off" event on August 7th at the beautiful Great Pines Lodge on Fourth Lake. Informational speakers from the Adirondack Watershed Institute, Adirondack Council, Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation and the Fulton Chain of Lakes Association will be in attendance. Registered participants invited. Refreshments will be served.
