Dr. Chelsea Smith, Senior Research Scientist at AWI, will share about nutrient loading and the science behind Harmful Algal Blooms in lakes throughout our region. Adirondack Lakes & Trails Outfitters will be providing tandem kayaks and a licensed guide on the beautiful waters of Lake Colby in Saranac Lake. All skill levels and curious minds are encouraged to attend. Meet at the Lake Colby boat launch at 10:00am.
