2025 B.S. Natural Resource Management and Conservation, Paul Smith’s College

Michael Hansen is a 2025 Paul Smith's College graduate in Natural Resources Conservation Management, with a minor in Sustainability. His career trajectory included an internship at John Dillon Park in 2023 before joining AWI as a steward in 2024 and a Decontamination Program Assistant in 2025. While an athlete before and during college, his true passion since the time he was 6 years old has been everything the Adirondack Mountains have to offer, trout fishing particularly. His addition to the AWI staff in the Watercraft Decontamination Program Manager role will allow him to pursue his passion in the occupation of his dreams.
