Suggested donation: $5 / students free

The Fall Lyceum presents a five-week series of conversations that will dig deep into topics of concern and significance for the region.

Michale Glennon has worked as a wildlife ecologist in the Adirondacks for two decades, investigating a variety of human impacts to wildlife communities including rural sprawl, recreation, and climate change. Much of this work has been done through the lens of birds and the challenges they face on both public and private lands in the park. She is a Senior Research Scientist at the Paul Smith’s College Adirondack Watershed Institute where she also hosts a project that involves citizen participation in using fiber art to illustrate issues affecting our waterways. Elizabeth Lee, Executive Director of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Essex County and a wilderness guide and educator, will talk with Michale about her fascinating work and contributions to the fields of wildlife ecology, climate science, and citizen engagement.
