Training Program: Invasive Species

Protecting clean water is our top priority at the Adirondack Watershed Institute. We are delighted to partner with the Adirondack Lakes Alliance to offer a series of educational and training programs to our business partners, community members and friends interested in helping to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species in our waterways.

Geared toward the general public and free of charge, your participation helps to protect clean water!

Certification in Aquatic Invasive Species Identification and Spread Prevention:

Watch Daily Digital videos, complete the quizzes, post questions or comments to the online Discussion Board and join a live interactive webinar to earn the AWI Advanced Certificate.

Register here and start the course when you want and then join us for a one-hour, live, interactive, online discussion will be held TBD during Adirondack Water Week (Aug 23 to Aug 28) and will feature AWI's Executive Director, Dan Kelting and other AWI staff. This will wrap up the 2020 Aquatic Invasive Species Prevention training program.

Tune in to AWI's YouTube channel to watch a ½ hour video on Aquatic Invasive Species Identification and Spread Prevention. Subscribe to the channel to access these or watch for the link on social media. Videos can be watched at your own pace.
