Check here for updates to the Upper Saranac watershed management planning process.
Upper Saranac Foundation was awarded a $68,000 NYS DEC grant to develop a management plan for the Upper Saranac Lake watershed and contracted with the Paul Smith's College Adirondack Watershed Institute to assist in the effort. The resulting document will define community priorities related to watershed resources and establish the framework for future state funding grant proposals.
A series of public participation meetings will be held starting in February 2021 and the final plan will be complete in October 2021.
This page will provide details for all meetings including registration links, meeting materials and recordings from the sessions.
Thank you for your interest in this plan. If you have any questions or comments about the planning effort please email Guy Middleton at lakemanager@usfoundation.net or Zoë Smith at zsmith1@paulsmiths.edu
